We were so tired yesterday after our return that we went to bed at 10PM and I didn't wake up until 10:20 the next morning. I can't remember the last time I slept 12 straight hours without waking up. However, the day that I have been waiting for every since I bought the new camera finally arrived today. In all it's glory, the sun was finally shining without gray cloud cover and so I just had to go out for a walk and take the pictures in the slideshow on the right side of this blog.
First I walked down our street taking pictures of bushes and trees. At the corner where that new house is being built with the white fence I turned right and walked into the wooded area where there is a path that leads to the railroad tracks. It's not a densely wooded area like in the forest but it still has a lot of color. I walked the path to the tracks, then crossed over to the dirt road along side of it. Just past the house with the little, colorful maple tree, I turned left and walked past the nun's house. Behind the house is a playground with a dozen or so children playing under the nun's supervision. Next I turned right and walked up the street where several of our friends live, taking more tree and house pictures. I took the side road by the tracks to the pedestrian crossing, went to the children's park in front of our building, took a few pictures of our local fruit and vegetable stand and that was the end for today.
Wczoraj, po powrocie byli艣my tak zm臋czeni, 偶e poszli艣my spa膰 o 10 wieczorem i nie obudzili艣my si臋 a偶 10:20 nast臋pnego dnia rano. Nie pami臋tam, kiedy ostatnio spa艂em 12 godzin bez przerwy. Jednak dzie艅, na kt贸ry czeka艂em od momentu kupienia nowego aparatu wreszcie dzisiaj nadszed艂. S艂o艅ce 艣wieci艂o w ca艂ej okaza艂o艣ci, nie by艂o 偶adnej szarej chmury i musia艂em wyj艣膰 na spacer i zrobi膰 zdj臋cia, kt贸re s膮 w pokazie slajd贸w po prawej stronie tego bloga.
Najpierw szed艂em nasz膮 ulic膮 w d贸艂 i fotografowa艂em krzewy i drzewa. Na rogu, gdzie jest budowany nowy dom z bia艂ym p艂otem skr臋ci艂em w prawo i wszed艂em do zalesionej okolicy, gdzie znajduje si臋 艣cie偶ka prowadz膮c膮 do tor贸w kolejowych. To nie jest g臋sto zalesiony teren, taki jak w lesie, ale nadal ma wiele kolor贸w. Szed艂em 艣cie偶k膮 w kierunku tor贸w, a nast臋pnie przeszed艂em na poln膮 drog臋. Min膮艂em dom z ma艂ym kolorowym klonem, skr臋ci艂em w lewo i przeszed艂em obok domu zakonnic. Za domem znajduje si臋 plac zabaw na kt贸rym kilkana艣cie dzieci bawi艂o si臋 pod nadzorem zakonnicy. Nast臋pnie skr臋ci艂em w prawo i ruszy艂em w g贸r臋 ulicy, gdzie mieszka wielu z naszych przyjaci贸艂, robi膮c wi臋cej zdj臋膰 drzewom i domom. Wybra艂em boczn膮 drog臋 przez tory do przej艣cia dla pieszych, uda艂em si臋 do parku dla dzieci naprzeciwko naszego budynku, zrobi艂em kilka zdj臋膰 naszego lokalnego straganu z owocami i warzywami i to by艂 koniec na dzisiaj.
