Forsythia's.

When cousin Magda came to our party she brought with her these beautiful forsythia flowers. I don't know how she found them during winter but Joan really loves them. When we lived in the U.S., on the way to work we always passed by a whole block of these when they were in bloom in the springtime. We would just park next to the long row of bushes and look at the beautiful, bright yellow flower.

So now the house is back in order and the next thing we have to do is take down our Christmas tree and put it away for 350+ days until the next one. Where we will be for that one, we don't know.

We had a few emails from our party guests and they said they had an interesting and enjoyable evening. I know Joan and I did but it's good to hear it from our guests also.

  1. I know what you mean about the stunning beauty of a whole row of forsythia bushes. When I was little and growing up on a chicken farm in New Jersey, the owners had a huge row of forsythia bushes extending down hundreds of feet on two sides of the property that faced two streets. So glorious to pass by on the way to the school bus.

    Thanks for the memory!
