Snowfall?

Occasionally I mention the place I lived in, the house I built with my son in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Many things I miss about living there but at this age one thing don't miss is the snow. Winters are long up there. The nearest town was Ishpeming. Last weekend they had a snowfall of 31 inches, the weekend of the 14th of April. It's a beautiful thing if you don't have to go somewhere but most people do. It also puts to risk the deer population in the forest because they can't find food because of the snow cover. I still have a few friends living on that road, #550, although most have moved away because of age or other reasons. It's a time period in my life I will never forget.

Joan's daughter confirmed all the documents have been sent to the appropriate offices and  now we just wait.  Considering mailing, processing time, return mailing, I think we would be lucky to have them all back by July.

Od czasu do czasu wspominam o miejscu, w którym mieszkałem, domu, który zbudowałem z moim synem na Upper Peninsula w Michigan. Wiele rzeczy brakuje mi w życiu, ale w tym wieku nie można przegapić śniegu. Zimy tam są długie. Najbliższym miastem była Ishpeming. W zeszły weekend mieli 14 cm śniegu w weekend 14 kwietnia. To piękna rzecz, jeśli nie musisz gdzieś iść, ale większość ludzi to robi. Ryzykuje także populację jeleni w lesie, ponieważ nie mogą znaleźć pożywienia z powodu pokrywy śnieżnej. Nadal mam kilku przyjaciół mieszkających na tej drodze # 550, chociaż większość z nich odeszła z powodu wieku lub z innych powodów. To okres w moim życiu, którego nigdy nie zapomnę.


Córka Joanny potwierdziła, że wszystkie dokumenty zostały wysłane do odpowiednich biur, a teraz po prostu czekamy. Biorąc pod uwagę mailing, czas przetwarzania, wysyłkę zwrotną, myślę, że mielibyśmy szczęście, gdyby wszystkie zostały z powrotem do lipca.

De vez en cuando, menciono el lugar donde vivía, la casa que construí con mi hijo en la península superior de Michigan. Extraño muchas cosas en mi vida, pero a esta edad no puedes perderte la nieve. Los inviernos son largos allí. Ishpeming era la ciudad más cercana. El fin de semana pasado tuvieron 14 cm de nieve en el fin de semana del 14 de abril. Es algo hermoso si no tienes que ir a algún lado, pero la mayoría de la gente lo hace. También pone en riesgo la población de venados en el bosque porque no pueden encontrar comida debido a la capa de nieve. Todavía tengo algunos amigos que viven en esta carretera n. ° 550, aunque la mayoría de ellos se fue por razones de edad u otras razones. Este es un período en mi vida que nunca olvidaré.

La hija de Joanne confirmó que todos los documentos fueron enviados a las oficinas correspondientes, y ahora solo estamos esperando. Teniendo en cuenta el envío por correo, el tiempo de procesamiento y el envío de devolución, creo que tendremos suerte si todos volvieran a julio.
