I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Allison, George, Lucie and John for taking the time to help me get the Apostille application from the State of Illinois. They learned about my problem 2 of the anyway, from reading yesterday's blog and the other from chatting on FB. This morning I have 4 copies of the application. Now I have applications from all three states that affect us and can proceed. Today I will take the birth certificates to the "official" translator to have them translated into Polish. The marriage certificate is already done.

I had  another inquiry from a lady(Polish) in Canada who wants to come back to Poland for a year or two and stay in Poznań.She wants to give her young daughters better exposure to the Polish language and to have time to spend with their grandfather. She asked me where are good places to rent a flat in Poznań, about banking here, taxation and healthcare.

Chciałbym powiedzieć OGROMNE podziękowania dla Allison, George'a, Lucie i Johna za poświęcenie czasu, aby pomóc mi uzyskać podanie Apostille ze stanu Illinois. Dowiedzieli się o moim drugim problemie, czytając wczorajszy blog i drugi z pogawędki na FB. Dziś rano mam 4 kopie wniosku. Teraz mam wnioski ze wszystkich trzech stanów, które dotyczą nas i mogą być kontynuowane. Dziś wezmę metryki urodzenia do "oficjalnego" tłumacza, aby przetłumaczono je na język polski. Akt małżeństwa jest już zrobiony.


Miałem kolejne pytanie od pani (polskiej) z Kanady, która chce wrócić do Polski na rok lub dwa i zostać w Poznaniu. Chce dać swoim młodszym córkom lepszą styczność z językiem polskim i mieć czas na spędzenie Dziadek. Zapytała mnie, gdzie są dobre miejsca na wynajem mieszkania w Poznaniu, o bankowości, podatkach i opiece zdrowotnej.

Me gustaría dar las GRACIAS a Allison, George, Lucie y John por tomarse el tiempo para ayudarme a obtener la solicitud de Apostilla del Estado de Illinois. Aprendieron sobre mi problema 2 de todos modos, desde leer el blog de ayer y el otro desde chatear en FB. Esta mañana tengo 4 copias de la aplicación. Ahora tengo aplicaciones de los tres estados que nos afectan y podemos continuar. Hoy llevaré los certificados de nacimiento al traductor "oficial" para que los traduzca al polaco. El certificado de matrimonio ya está hecho.


Recibí otra consulta de una dama (polaca) en Canadá que quiere volver a Polonia por un año o dos y quedarse en Poznań. Quiere dar a sus hijas una mejor exposición al idioma polaco y tener tiempo para pasar con su abuelo. Me preguntó dónde hay buenos lugares para alquilar un piso en Poznań, sobre banca aquí, impuestos y atención médica.
