Palac.

A day without Bartosz so I filled in as therapist. I walked Joan down the stairs to the car, and then to Plac Wolnosći. From the underground parking lot, she walked to Empik where we had coffee, watched the people in the Plac, talked about missing Spain, and talked about elections. I suppose if we lived near the Baltic Sea we wouldn't think that much about Spain but we are rooted in Poznań now and don't want to start all over in a new city. It is a good city that should do more to attract tourists. Of course, Americans are banned now from coming as it should be.  Their Covid-19 cases are out of control due to the lack of leadership. Naturally, the lack of tourists hurts the economy and too many people are out of work because of it.

We've traveled to many cities in Poland during our last 13 years. I especially like driving through small towns/villages and discovering they have a beautiful old manor house or palace. Many of them are not mentioned in books or internet sites so it's always a pleasant surprise to find them. You know how much Joan and I like palaces. Not all are accessible because they are privately owned. However, I can still take pictures of them through the gate o/r over the wall surrounding them, One of my favorites is in Napachanie, not far from us. It is not restored and has been for sale for many years. It would be interesting to sneak through the gate. Someone did and you can view the pictures here. Napachanie is a village and in the administrative district of Gimina Rokeitnica, withinPoznań County., in west-central Poland. The village has a population of 460. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Rokietnica and 16 km (10 mi) north-west of the regional capital Poznań.

It has a junior high school and a palace from 1879, built in the style of Queen Anna's North-European Renaissance.

Napachanie was the birthplace of Antoni of Napachanie (1494–1561), professor and rector of the University of Kraków.

Dzień bez Bartosza, więc zamieniłem się w terapeutę. Zszedłem z Joan po schodach do samochodu, a potem pojechaliśmy na Plac Wolnosći. Z parkingu podziemnego przeszła do Empiku, gdzie wypiliśmy kawę, obserwowaliśmy ludzi na Placu, opowiadaliśmy o utraconej Hiszpanii, opowiadaliśmy o wyborach. Przypuszczam, że gdybyśmy mieszkali nad Bałtykiem, nie myślelibyśmy tyle o Hiszpanii, ale jesteśmy teraz zakorzenieni w Poznaniu i nie chcemy zaczynać wszystkiego od nowa w nowym mieście. Jest to dobre miasto, które powinno zrobić więcej, aby przyciągnąć turystów. Oczywiście Amerykanie nie mogą teraz przyjeżdżać tak, jak to powinno być. Sprawy Covid-19 tam wymyka się spod kontroli z powodu braku przywództwa. Naturalnie, brak turystów szkodzi gospodarce, a zbyt wiele ludzi jest z tego powodu bez pracy.

W ciągu ostatnich 13 lat podróżowaliśmy do wielu miast w Polsce. Szczególnie lubię jeździć po małych miejscowościach i odkrywać, że mają one piękny stary dworek lub pałac. Wiele z nich nie jest wymienionych w książkach czy na stronach internetowych, więc zawsze miło jest je znaleźć. Wiesz jak bardzo Joan i ja lubimy pałace. Nie wszystkie są dostępne, ponieważ są własnością prywatną. Jednak nadal mogę robić im zdjęcia przez bramę lub nad otaczającym je murem, Jednym z moich ulubionych jest Napachanie, miejsce położone niedaleko od nas. Budynek nie jest odrestaurowany i jest na sprzedaż od wielu lat. Ciekawe byłoby przemknąć się przez bramę. Ktoś to zrobił i można obejrzeć zdjęcia tutaj. Napachanie jest wsią i leży w powiecie poznańskim, w powiecie Gimina Rokeitnica, w zachodnio-centralnej Polsce.[1] Wieś liczy 460 mieszkańców. Leży około 4 km (2 minuty.) na południe od Rokietnicy i 16 km (10 min.) na północny zachód od stolicy regionu Poznania.

Posiada gimnazjum i pałac z 1879 r., zbudowany w stylu północnoeuropejskiego renesansu królowej Anny.

Napachanie było miejscem narodzin Antoniego z Napachania (1494-1561), profesora i rektora Uniwersytetu Krakowskiego.

Un día sin Bartosz, así que completé como terapeuta. Bajé a Joan por las escaleras hasta el auto, y luego a Plac Wolnosći. Desde el estacionamiento subterráneo, ella caminó hacia Empik donde tomamos café, observamos a la gente en el Plac, hablamos de extrañar España y hablamos de elecciones. Supongo que si viviéramos cerca del Mar Báltico no pensaríamos mucho en España, pero ahora estamos arraigados en Poznań y no queremos comenzar de nuevo en una nueva ciudad. Es una buena ciudad que debería hacer más para atraer turistas. Por supuesto, a los estadounidenses ahora se les prohíbe venir como debería ser.
