Numbers

These numbers are driving me crazy!..telling time in particular. There is a different name for a single number in Polish. In telling time, if it is four minutes after the hours, there is one name, czwartej. If it is four minutes to the hour it is czwarta. And military time is till used here. 1300 hours is 1 in the afternoon, 1500 is 2 in the afternoon. This will take time to learn. I remember military time from my Navy days but I haven't used it for 30 some years.

We spent the day studying, didn't go out at all.


Te liczby kierują mną zwariowany!..mówiący czas w szczególności. Jest różne imię dla pojedynczej liczby po polsku. W mówieniu czas, jeżeli to jest cztery minuty po godzinach, tam są jedno imię, czwartej. Jeżeli to jest cztery minuty do godziny to jest czwarta. I wojskowy czas jest aż użył tutaj. 1300 godzin są 1 po południu, 1500 są 2 po południu. To zajmie czas by nauczyć się. Pamiętam wojskowy czas od moich Granatowych dni ale nie użyłem tego dla 30 kilka lat.

Spędziliśmy dzień studiujący, nie wyszliśmy w ogóle.
