Test

Well, the test was easy for me. I think I only made two mistakes. We had to write about our families and I used jego instead of jej in a sentence about my mothers brother. Joan thinks she got about 70 percent right.

The day was just like Wednesday, cold, windy and constant rain so the walk to the school was not nice. However, today there was some kind of parade in Poznań. When we left the school and walked toward the castle of S.W. Marcin street we heard music. As we approached the castle it got louder and we heard a choir singing the last movement of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. In front of the castle a marching band was assembled and ready to move. It was pouring rain but they were standing in it and waiting. The music was very nice to hear and it stayed with us until we reached the underground tunnel that takes us to the bus stop.

We got there just in time for bus 69 to arrive and we eagerly boarded it and rode it to Marcelinska street where we get off. Like I said before, public transportation in Poznań is excellent. The busses all have designated areas for women with baby carriages.

Earlier in the day we went to the office where we have to file again our residency. We didn't have any problems but the government service people could use a course in courtesy. It seems to be a problem in all countries. These people are in the service of the people but make you feel like they are doing you a favor by helping you. I've experienced the same thing in the U.S. so it's not just a "Polish" problem.


Dobrze, test był łatwy dla mnie. Myślę tylko zrobiłem dwie pomyłki. Musieliśmy napisać o naszych rodzinach i używałem jego zamiast jej w zdaniu {wyroku} o moim bracie matek. Joan myśli, że ona poruszyła się 70 procent w prawo.

Dzień był właśnie jak środa, zimny, wystawiony na wiatr i stały deszcz tak spacer do szkoły nie był miły. Jednak dzisiaj tam był trochę rodzaju parady w Poznań. Kiedy opuściliśmy szkołę i chodziliśmy ku zamkowi S.W. Marcin ulica usłyszeliśmy muzykę. Jak zbliżyliśmy się do zamku to dostało się głośniejszy i usłyszeliśmy, jak chór zaśpiewał ostatni ruch o Beethoven Dziewiątej Symfonii. Przed zamkiem maszerujące pas było zebrane i gotowy by ruszyć się. To był ulewny deszcz ale oni stali w tym i czekali. Muzyka była bardzo miła by usłyszeć i to pozostało z nami aż osiągnęliśmy podziemny tunel, który bierze nas do przystanku autobusowego.

Dostaliśmy się tam w samą porę dla autobusu 69 by przybyć i z zapałem wsiedliśmy to i jeździliśmy tym do Marcelinska ulicy gdzie schodzimy. Jak powiedziałem przedtem, publiczny przewóz w Poznań będzie doskonały. Całusy wszystkie wyznaczyły obszary dla kobiet z wózkami dziecięcymi.
Wcześniej w dniu poszliśmy do biura gdzie musimy włożyć znowu naszą rezydencję. Nie mieliśmy żadnych problemów ale ludzie usługi rządu mogliby użyć kursu w kurtuazji. To wydaje się być problem we wszystkich krajach. Ci ludzie są w usłudze ludzi ale robią czujesz ochotę na oni robią tobie względy przez pomaganie tobie. Doświadczyłem tej samej rzeczy w Stanach Zjednoczonych tak to nie jest właśnie "polski" problem.
