After several discussions with Joan's doctor today, two things were accomplished. First, the 3-6 week estimate for her stay in rehab has a confirmation of 3 weeks. With the progress Joan is making, the doctor feels 3 weeks is sufficient. Second, she also gave me permission to take Joan home on Sundays as long as she returns by 9PM. THAT is a big deal because it gives Joan something to look forward to each week. Her Saturday therapies are at 8:30 and 9:00 so by 9:30 she is also free for the rest of the day. I won't take her home Saturday this week but Monday I will ask the doctor since her Saturday therapies end at 9:30 and she has permission already to travel to Pozna艅, why can't we sleep at home Saturday night and return Sunday by 21:00. It's worth a try to ask anyway.On the way home tonight I mad a short 3km side trip to see another excellent palace at the end of the Paw艂owice village. I'll go back and take pictures of it. Tomorrow, after Joan finishes at 9:30, we're going on a little trip to see an astonishing monastery. It's called the Versailles of Central Europe because it is so big and ornately decorated.
