Problem?

Tori-What pictures are you referring to? The pictures on the right side all work. If you don't see them using the IE browser, try using a Chrome or Firefox browser but they show in my IE browser also. Let me know if it is still a problem for you. Does anyone else have a problem viewing the pictures on the right side?

Another beautiful day in Poznań. Had a nice conversation with a friend about the differences between what is known as Poland A and Poland B. Basically, Poland is divided between the east and west by a river. Poland A is to the west of the river while Poland B is to the east. It's considered by many, in his opinion, that the majority of government money is spent on Poland A for development, investment and major projects. People in Poland B often feel neglected by the government. When I was staying at the farmhouse the last two weeks, there were 5 farm workers there from Lublin, a city in the east, and they told me the same thing. They resented the fact that they had to travel west just to find work and could only be home on the weekends.

We've done some traveling in the east, to Lublin, Zamość and Rzeszów. The farms we saw had whole families in the fields picking the vegetables and few had machinery. The villages we passed through were not in really good shape but, of course, the cities were in better condition so I can't say whether or not the above is true, it's the observations of other people.

Kolejny piękny dzień w Poznaniu. Miał miłą rozmowę z przyjacielem na temat różnic między tym, co jest znane jako Polska A i Polska B. Zasadniczo, Polska jest podzielona między wschodu i zachodu przez rzekę. Polska A jest na zachód od rzeki, podczas gdy Polska B jest na wschodzie. Jest uważany przez wielu, w jego opinii, że większość rządowych pieniędzy jest przeznaczana na Polskę A dla rozwoju, inwestycji i dużych projektów. Ludzie w Polsce B często czują się zaniedbane przez rząd. Kiedy przebywał w gospodarstwie przez ostatnie dwa tygodnie, było 5 robotników rolnych nie z Lublina, miasta na wschodzie, a oni powiedzieli mi to samo. Oni za złe fakt, że musieli West prostu znaleźć pracę i mógł być w domu tylko w weekendy.

Zrobiliśmy kilka podróży na wschód, do Lublina, Zamościa i Rzeszowa. Gospodarstwa widzieliśmy miał całe rodziny w dziedzinach zbieranie warzyw i mało mieli maszyn. Wsie Minęliśmy nie były w bardzo dobrym stanie, ale oczywiście, miasta były w lepszym stanie, więc nie mogę powiedzieć, czy powyższe jest prawdą, to obserwacje innych ludzi.
