Poland is open.

Poland will reopen its borders with other European Union countries this Saturday, 13 June, and permit international flights from next Tuesday, 16 June, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced today.

The prime minister did not mention whether the quarantine requirement would still apply to people arriving in Poland, Onet notes. However, information published by the government soon after confirmed that travelers would not have to enter quarantine.

Today is Corpus Christy day so most stores and businesses are closed. (Boze Ciało) is a Catholic feast celebrated as a public holiday in Poland. It is the day when the Catholic Church commemorates the practice of Holy Eucharist, or Communion.


I spent time with Joan working Jig-Word puzzles to keep her mind active instead of sitting in front of the TV watching news programs or re-run movies.  She seems to like them because we did them for 2 hours. I couldn't do the weekly shopping because big food stores are closed today so I will do it tomorrow. Even though it is a holiday, I still did exercises with Joan walking.

Premier nie wspomniał, czy wymóg kwarantanny będzie nadal obowiązywał w stosunku do osób przybywających do Polski - zauważa Onet. Jednak informacje opublikowane przez rząd wkrótce potem potwierdziły, że podróżni nie będą musieli przechodzić kwarantanny.

Dziś jest dzień Bożego Ciała, więc większość sklepów i firm jest zamknięta. (Boze Ciało) jest świętem katolickim obchodzonym w Polsce jako święto państwowe. Jest to dzień, w którym Kościół katolicki upamiętnia praktykowanie Eucharystii, czyli Komunii Świętej.

Spędziłem czas z Joan, pracując nad zagadkami Jig-Worda, by utrzymywać aktywność umysłu, zamiast siedzenia przed telewizorem i oglądania programów informacyjnych lub powtórek filmów. Wydaje się, że to lubi , bo robiliśmy je przez 2 godziny. Nie mogłem robić cotygodniowych zakupów, ponieważ duże sklepy spożywcze są dziś zamknięte, więc zrobię to jutro. Mimo że jest święto, nadal ćwiczyłem z Joan chodzenie.

Pasé tiempo con Joan trabajando en rompecabezas de Jig-Word para mantener su mente activa en lugar de estar sentada frente al televisor viendo programas de noticias o volviendo a ver películas. Parece que le gustan porque los hicimos durante 2 horas. No pude hacer las compras semanales porque las grandes tiendas de alimentos están cerradas hoy, así que lo haré mañana. Aunque es un día festivo, seguí haciendo ejercicios con Joan caminando.
