WOW!

Food shopping gave me another surprise, 174 PLN($44) However, that included not every week's purchases of coffee, blueberries, paper towels, tin foil toilet paper so that raised the price. Still, the food industry has no problem with raising food prices during this pandemic.

The last couple of days Joan's feet have been swollen. One theory is because she sits too much but,  laying bed for two months, her feet were never swollen. Another theory is because the weather is getting warmer. I don't believe either one of them. If it doesn't improve soon, her feet, I'll take her downstairs to get the doctor's theory.

I looked at the pictures of the demonstrations of faith during Corpus Christi day. What I saw hundreds of people gathered close together and maybe half were wearing masks. I know it is important to have such gatherings. I just wish they could arrange them to keep people safe from spreading the virus. The U.S. is a good example when large crowds are now gathering for any occasion. In the states that were in a hurry to fully return to "normal", the virus numbers are going up quickly. The scientists and the medical field warned that would happen but few people listen. I hope it does not occur here.

Piątkowe zakupy spożywcze zaskoczyły mnie, 174 zł(44$). Jednak nie co tydzień są zakupy kawy, borówek, ręczników papierowych, opakowania papieru toaletowego, dzięki czemu podniosła się cena. Mimo to, przemysł spożywczy nie ma problemu z podnoszeniem cen żywności w czasie tej pandemii.

Przez ostatnie kilka dni stopy Joanny były spuchnięte. Jedna z teorii jest taka, że za dużo, ale leżąc w łóżku przez dwa miesiące, jej stopy nigdy nie były opuchnięte. Inna teoria jest taka, że to pogoda i ciepło. Nie wierzę w żadną z nich. Jeśli wkrótce nie poprawi się jej stan, zabiorę ją na dół do lekarza.

Obejrzałem zdjęcia z procesji w dzień Bożego Ciała. Widziałem setki ludzi stojących blisko siebie, a może połowa z nich miała na sobie maski. Wiem, że to ważne, by mieć takie zgromadzenia. Chciałbym tylko, żeby mogli je zorganizować w taki sposób, żeby ludzie byli bezpieczni przed rozprzestrzenianiem się wirusa. USA jest dobrym przykładem, kiedy duży tłum gromadzi się teraz z każdej okazji. W stanach, które spieszyły się z pełnym powrotem do "normalności", liczba zachorowan z powodu wirusa szybko rośnie. Naukowcy i medycy ostrzegali, że tak się stanie, ale niewiele ludzi słucha. Mam nadzieję, że tak się nie stanie.

Miré las fotos de las manifestaciones de fe durante el día del Corpus Christi. Lo que vi cientos de personas se reunieron juntas y tal vez la mitad llevaba máscaras. Sé que es importante tener tales reuniones. Solo desearía que pudieran organizarlos para mantener a las personas a salvo de la propagación del virus. Estados Unidos es un buen ejemplo cuando grandes multitudes ahora se están reuniendo para cualquier ocasión. En los estados que tenían prisa por volver a la normalidad, los números de virus aumentan rápidamente. Los científicos y el campo médico advirtieron que sucedería, pero pocas personas escuchan. Espero que no ocurra aquí.
