She's OUT!

Yes, finally, my wonderful wife was able to go down all the flights of stairs and go outside. The therapist and I took her to the little park across the street where Joan walked a lot, with assistance. It was fantastic to get her out of our flat and see her walking again. We still need to continue working on it to make it easier for her but she is doing it. I am so glad that I decided to bring her home when I did instead of agreeing to leave her in the hospital's care. Yes, it's given me a tremendous amount of work each day taking care of her BUT she is my wife. How could I do less? You can see the walk in the video. It was a beautiful day for it, weatherwise.

Earlier, I did the food shopping for the week, cost 130 PLN($33).

Tak, w końcu moja wspaniała żona mogła zejść po wszystkich stopniach schodów i wyjść na zewnątrz. Terapeuta i ja zabraliśmy ją do małego parku po drugiej stronie ulicy, gdzie Joan dużo chodziła, przy naszej asyście. Fantastycznie było wyciągnąć ją z naszego mieszkania i zobaczyć ją znowu spacerującą. Nadal musimy nad tym pracować, żeby jej to ułatwić, ale ona to robi. Tak się cieszę, że zdecydowałem się sprowadzić ją do domu, zamiast zgodzić się na pozostawienie jej pod opieką w szpitalu. Tak, opieka nad nią przysparza mi każdego dnia ogromną ilość pracy, ale jest moją żoną. Jak mógłbym zrobić mniej? Możesz zobaczyć spacer na filmie. To był piękny dzień dla niej.

El terapeuta y yo la llevamos al pequeño parque al otro lado de la calle donde Joan caminaba mucho, con ayuda. Fue fantástico sacarla de nuestro departamento y verla caminar de nuevo. Todavía tenemos que seguir trabajando en ello para que sea más fácil para ella, pero lo está haciendo. Estoy muy contento de haber decidido llevarla a casa cuando lo hice en lugar de aceptar dejarla bajo el cuidado del hospital.
