Shocked!

Yes, that's the only word to describe how I was yesterday. I was in the dining room, having a conversation on Skype with the door closed to the living room. When I finished, I opened the door and Joan was not sitting in her recliner. I found her in the bathroom on the toilet seat. I told her I was happy that she was able to get out of her chair, walk to the bathroom,, and sit down unassisted. However, I also said it was not safe yet for her to be doing this without me close by in case she lost her balance. She forgets about that and it is still dangerous for her. I didn't want to negate the accomplishment of what she had done, I just wanted her to realize I should be there when she tries.

Earlier today, I wrote out my request for an English speaking doctor to make a house call from the clinic below where we live. I translated it into Polish and delivered it to the receptionist. She said the doctor was available on Friday and she would call with the time after she talks to the doctor. 16:00(4PM)They called and said they no longer have an English speaking doctor.  I have to find one on my own.

The weather has been good the last few days and tomorrow Radek will come to resume our English/Spanish conversations. I'm looking forward to that.

Muszę go znaleźć na własną rękę.
