Election Day-Poland.

Well, today is the day to see if Poland continues to go in the same direction with the PiS government or changes the direction with a new President, Rafal Trzaskowski. As of this writing, voting has only begun. The polls show it as an even race but you know how polls are. As an American living in Poland for the last 13 years, I know who my choice would be but I cannot vote as just a permanent resident. As it should be, voting is only for citizens of Poland.

Today, we made our annual first visit to the Botanical Gardens of Poznań. I took the wheelchair because the paths in the gardens are not exactly flat and it would be hard for Joan to walk through the whole place and enjoy it. This way she could sit and look at everything without worrying she was going trip in some hole in a path. Of course, I took a few pictures for you to see our little trip.

hi David and Joan , well I hope you enjoyed the film re no eating meat and dairy, and of course the course of dementia, you must be a proud supporter of the the PO candidate Trzaskowsk, good that you support the old communist things who sold out Poland, and divided the spoils amongst themselves , the PO values your judgement..from somebody looking from the outside it was the current government who looked after you and gave you so much hope and prosperity. David you should hold your head in shame..

    please publish

  2. Anon 1, thanks for your comments. Is NFZ something new brought by PiS? I think not. You talk about "old communist things". Would that be controlling most of the media, filling judge seats with only PiS members, raising hatred against a particular group of people(LGBT), and using the church to promote PiS programs? You should hold YOUR head in shame, my friend,

Sorry David I meant the old communist thugs not things , you have been brainwashed by TVN and over media groups that are in German hands, who take everything out of context and then throw mud, every political party has interest groups, the PO, its base is the old members of the communist party, you talk about filling judges with their own, this has gone on everywhere, looks at the US, thats a fact of life... You haver never mention judges appointed by Obama ??
Lets both hold our head in shame. anon 1

  4. Anon 1, ah yes, blame the Germans again....or the Russians and don't forget the Americans. Poland's problems are always the fault of someone else but Poland.
