World Champions-Chicago Cubs !!!!!!!!

 

 

Yes, another one of those rainy days but for fans of an American baseball team named the Chicago Cubs, it's the most beautiful day in over 108 years. Last night they finally won the top prize in baseball, the World Series Championship. Joan and I are not baseball fans but we are fans of the city of Chicago and know the feeling of that city when a sports team wins the biggest prize in their respective sport. We experienced it 6 times with the Chicago Bulls during the Michael Jordan era and once, in 1985, with the Chicago Bears.

Last night, for some strange reason, we both woke up very early to check the score of the last game being played for the baseball championship. It was 3:00 in the morning and the game was only half over so we continued to watch this computer for updates. In a 9 inning game, the Cubs were ahead by three points in the 8th inning and we were about to go to bed feeling they would win. However, the opposing team didn't feel like that and scored 3 points to tie the game. At the end of the 9 innings it was still tied so they continued playing. In the 10th inning the Cubs scored 2 more points but the other team could only score 1 and so the Cubs won, 8-7. Joan and I were happy for our two sons, dedicated Chicago Cubs fans from birth. I also thought of my mother who loved the Cubs and watched more than a few games with my then young at the time son. There was a humorous article posted on Facebook about the celebration taking place now in Heaven by all of the deceased Cubs fans. If it were true, I'm sure my mom would be one of them.

Ostatniej nocy w końcu zdobył główną nagrodę w baseball, World Series Championship. Joan i ja nie jesteśmy fanami baseball, ale jesteśmy fanami miasta Chicago i zna poczucie tego miasta, kiedy drużyna sportowa wygrywa największą nagrodę w ich odpowiednim sportem. Doświadczyliśmy mu 6 razy z Chicago Bulls w erze Michael Jordan, a raz, w 1985 roku, z Chicago Bears.
Ostatniej nocy, z jakiegoś dziwnego powodu, oboje obudził się bardzo wcześnie, aby sprawdzić wynik ostatniego meczu odtwarzany na mistrzostwa baseballu. Była 3:00 rano, a gra była tylko połowa ponad więc nadal oglądać ten komputer w poszukiwaniu aktualizacji. W grze 9 inning, Cubs wyprzedzili o trzy punkty w 8. rundzie i byliśmy zamiar iść do łóżka uczucie oni wygrać. Jednak drużyna przeciwna nie miała ochoty tego i zdobył 3 punkty związać grę. Na koniec 9 zmian był nadal związane tak, że w dalszym ciągu gry. W 10. rundzie Cubs zdobył 2 punkty więcej, ale z drugiej strony zespół może zdobyć tylko 1 i tak Cubs wygrał 8-7. Joan i ja byliśmy zadowoleni z naszych dwóch synów, dedykowanych Chicago Cubs fanów od urodzenia. Myślałem także o mojej matce, która lubi młode i patrzył dłużej niż kilka gier z moim wtedy młody syn czasowym. Było humorystyczny artykuł opublikowany na Facebooku o obchody odbywają się teraz w Niebie przez wszystkich zmarłych Cubs fanów. Gdyby to było prawdą, jestem pewien, że moja mama będzie jednym z nich.
