Yesterday there was a blockage of traffic n many areas of Poznan. Opponents of the new law stood in the streets to block cars and slow down the flow of cars, trams, and busses  It's not the end of the protest though. Now the organizers are calling for a work-strike on Wednesday.

The next stage of the protest was announced for Wednesday, this time under the slogan "Strike! We're not going to work!".

They are not going to work on Wednesday! They will take a vacation on demand. "We are taking unpaid leave. We're taking a vacation to donate blood. We close the company, shop, point of sale. Or simply - we're not going to work! If Poland isn't working, let's stop it! And let's make a new one" - encourage the organizers of the National Women's Strike.

They called for support for the action, among others Tomasz Lewandowski, head of the Management Board of Municipal Housing Resources in Poznań. - "Dear employers, a strike of women has been announced tomorrow and that men who support women will not work. I am appealing for full support for this action and for helping all those who fight for the right to decide about their body, the right to health protection, and the prevention of suffering. Tomorrow we are taking a decency exam. We will not disappoint".

Lewandowski responded, He sent a message to his employees in which he admits that people who will not work tomorrow will have his support. -" I would like you to be convinced about my full support and identification with the fight for the basic rights of women to decide about their body, the right to health protection, and the prevention of suffering. You can certainly count on my support. Thus, I am asking all people who will be working that day to organize it in such a way that it affects the quality of services provided to our tenants as little as possible. Let us maintain the solidarity in these days, which is so lacking in recent times" 

Wczoraj w wielu rejonach Poznania doszło do zablokowania ruchu. Przeciwnicy nowego prawa stanęli na ulicach, aby zablokować samochody i spowolnić przepływ samochodów, tramwajów i autobusów. To jednak nie koniec protestu. Teraz organizatorzy wzywają do strajku w pracy w środę.

Kolejny etap protestu został zapowiedziany na środę, tym razem pod hasłem „Strajk! Nie będziemy pracować!”.

W środę nie będą pracować! Na życzenie wezmą urlop. "Bierzemy urlop bezpłatny. Wyjeżdżamy na urlop, żeby oddać krew. Zamykamy firmę, sklep, punkt sprzedaży. Albo po prostu - nie idziemy do pracy! Jeśli Polska nie działa, to przestańmy!" I zróbmy nowy ”- zachęcają organizatorki Ogólnopolskiego Strajku Kobiet.

O wsparcie akcji zaapelowali m.in. Tomasz Lewandowski, Naczelnik Zarządu Miejskiego Zasobu Mieszkaniowego w Poznaniu. - „Drodzy pracodawcy, jutro został ogłoszony strajk kobiet i mężczyźni, którzy wspierają kobiety, nie będą pracować. Apeluję o pełne poparcie dla tej akcji i pomocy wszystkim, którzy walczą o prawo do decydowania o swoim ciele, o prawo do ochrony zdrowia i zapobiegania cierpieniu. Jutro zdajemy egzamin z przyzwoitości. Nie zawiedziemy ”.
