Rant #19

I didn't watch the two town hall meetings live. However, I did watch them via YouTube on Friday. What a contrast between the two candidates for the Presidency!

Once again the bully spent the whole time blaming Democrats for everything. He avoided every question by turning it into a Democratic fault. He continues to lie. For example, the question about Qanon. He said he knows nothing about that group. He is, unfortunately, the President. It's not possible for him NOT to know about that group. He IS the President. He only knows what he wants to know, just like his supporters. No hour has better illustrated the alternate reality in which Trump exists than those two town hall meetings.

Trump claimed the science is still out on wearing masks, despite the universal view of health experts -- including within his own administration -- that it can mitigate the spread of coronavirus.
He refused to say whether or not he believed Democrats were running a satanic pedophile ring, shrugging when pressed and saying only, "I have no idea."
He claimed with no evidence that ballots with his name on them had been found in garbage cans.
And he would not affirm that a conspiratorial tweet he retweeted claiming Osama Bin Laden is still alive is false, saying, "People can decide for themselves."
"I don't get that," moderator Savannah Guthrie said after that last equivocation. "You're the President, not somebody's crazy uncle."
Why should voters give him a second term? Instead of laying out what he'd do differently, Trump listed only what he'd accomplished so far and concluded with: "Next year is going to be better than ever before."
Biden used the town hall to focus on how his plans would affect ordinary Americans. It's the contrast Biden sought to offer voters: Sobriety in the face of Trump's outburst, and a connection to the concerns of low- and middle-income Americans who he says have been ignored by Trump.
On JEST Prezydentem.

"Well, look what’s happened. Look what started to seep in, beginning and probably even with candidates during our administration. We stopped showing up at the Polish American club. We stopped showing up, and we all went to you, the really smart people. We had a new kind of coalition we were putting together. College-educated women and college men and boom, boom, boom and so on."
Two conclusions seem inescapable: 1) Biden thinks that the Democratic Party walked away from Polish Americans, and 2) Biden does not number Polish Americans among “the really smart people.
This is the comment made by your favorite candidate Joe Biden. He thinks Polish people are ignorant, uneducated and not worth his time. Congratulations on supporting someone who doesn't care about Polish Americans.

You wanted the source of the comment, Biden had a town hall meeting in Philadelphia and the source was the New York Times. You can look it up on the web. The other very distributing comment was about Poland and compering it to a totalitarian government. https://polandin.com/50360761/biden-categorises-poland-alongside-belarus-and-totalitarian-regimes
Poland and the Polish American Organizations are very upset about these comments and are asking for clarification and apologizes from Biden. So far nothing!!
You hate Trump and never go beyond the sources who hate President Trump, maybe you should expand your horizon?

Hi David and Joan, thanks for your comments, hope Joan is getting on well, give her a special hug, now David the greatest casualties when it comes to this election is firstly truth, it seems that Biden is incapable of telling the truth and is very selective in his memory. If elected he could be the first president in history to spend time behind bars, and secondly its people who make nasty, untrue comments on their blogs, they have become Jekyll and Hydes, good people becoming monsters. David you are better than all this. Modern media and internet tells us more about the personalities of presidential candidates than ever before, realistically we shouldn't demand our leaders to be saints, but only to get the job done. anon1.
Ps there was a media report that Biden thinks all Poles have low intelligence etc

  6. Anon1, show me the media report. Tell me the source. Yes, Trump is incapable of telling the tru

    When: Multiple times
The claim: If the economic shutdown continues, deaths by suicide “definitely would be in far greater numbers than the numbers that we’re talking about” for COVID-19 deaths.
The truth: More than 200,000 Americans have died from COVID-19.

    When: Multiple times
The claim: “Coronavirus numbers are looking MUCH better, going down almost everywhere,” and cases are “coming way down.”
The truth: When Trump made these claims in May, coronavirus cases were either increasing or plateauing in the majority of American states. Over the summer, the country saw a second surge even greater than its first in the spring.

    When: Wednesday, June 17
The claim: The pandemic is “fading away. It’s going to fade away.”
The truth: Trump made this claim ahead of his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma when the country was still seeing at least 20,000 new daily cases and the second spike in infections was beginning.
    When: Saturday, July 4
The claim: “99%” of COVID-19 cases are “totally harmless.”
The truth: The virus can still cause tremendous suffering if it doesn’t kill a patient, and the WHO has said that about 15 percent of COVID-19 cases can be severe, with 5 percent being critical. Fauci has rejected Trump’s claim, saying the evidence shows that the virus “can make you seriously ill” even if it doesn’t kill you.

    When: Monday, July 6
The claim: “We now have the lowest Fatality (Mortality) Rate in the World.”
The truth: The U.S. had neither the lowest mortality rate nor the lowest case-fatality rate when Trump made this claim. As of July 13, the case-fatality rate—the ratio of deaths to confirmed COVID-19 cases—was 4.1 percent, which placed the U.S. solidly in the middle of global rankings.

    When: Multiple times
The claim: Children are “virtually immune” to COVID-19.
The truth: The science is not definitive, but that doesn’t mean children are immune. Studies in the U.S. and China have suggested that kids are less likely than adults to be infected, and more likely to have mild symptoms, but can still spread the virus to their family members and others.
Another claim: Trump celebrated a gain of 9 million jobs as “a record in the history of our country” and said that the United States had experienced “the smallest economic contraction of any major Western nation.”
The truth: The country did gain 9 million jobs from May to July—after losing more than 20 million from February to April, during the pandemic’s first surge. And more than a dozen developed countries have recorded smaller economic contractions than America’s recession.

    When: Wednesday, March 4
The claim: The Trump White House rolled back Food and Drug Administration regulations that limited the kind of laboratory tests states could run and how they could conduct them. “The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing,” Trump said.
The truth: The Obama administration drafted, but never implemented, changes to rules that regulate laboratory tests run by states. Trump’s policy change relaxed an FDA requirement that would have forced private labs to wait for FDA authorization to conduct their own, non-CDC-approved coronavirus tests.

    When: Multiple times
The claim: The Trump White House “inherited” a “broken,” “bad,” and “obsolete” test for the coronavirus.
The truth: The novel coronavirus did not exist in humans during the Obama administration. Public-health experts agree that, because of that fact, the CDC could not have produced a test, and thus a new test had to be developed this year....The source..The Atlantic

That is what you call a Source, not just saying, "there is a media report". Who is the biggest liar? 20,000 lies by Trump until July 2020! Wake up and smell the roses, Anon. Thank you for the hugs for Joan.

Without any original thinking, Anon1 copied, pasted and slightly modified the first comment to you. It came from a Danusha Goska blog. Typical right wingnut regurgitation of unsourced claims picked up elsewhere.

Hi David and Joan, thanks for your comments, David let it make it perfectly clear I am not trying to upset you, if truth hurts then so be it, I did not copy comments from a Danusha Gorska, I don't know who she is.
Don't repeat what Biden says about Poland, he also stated that Poland is a totalitarian country. It's funny that people throw dirt on Poland but love living in Poland and many want to return.
You have mention a few times now that Kacynski runs Poland but not the leader, its perfectly normal for a a leader of a party not a leader in government, leaders like a Prime Minister are not elected by the people but by a caucus, the leader can change at any time during the time of the elected government.
David you have conducted a hate campaign against Trump from day 1, he has not been given a fair go.
Its unfortunate that you have been brainwashed by the nasty people in the left media. anon1

  11. Anon1. your comments don't upset me. Yes, I have a campaign against Trump but it is not as you say," a hate campaign". Do you know anything about Trump BEFORE he was elected? Did you ever live in the U.S.? There were plenty of bad stories. I am not throwing "dirt" on Poland but I pay taxes here just like you and have the right to voice my opinion. Thanks for your comments.

From Anon2: David--Here's a copy and paste directly from Danusha's blog: "Well, look what's happened. We stopped showing up, and we all went to you, the really smart people. We had a new kind of coalition we were putting together. Just coincidental with Anon1's comment?? There's nothing anti-Polish in the statement. It's an explanation of why the Dems lost in 2016. Anon1 very thin-skinned rightwing-nut.

Maybe a comment was made on a blogger's site, here is the website you can check on what Biden said.
Desperate are you kidding? Biden is controlled by the new Democrats in Congress who believe they are the only right party for this country and if you disagree they will smear your name through all the social media. Try posting anything to do with Trump on Facebook and your account will be deleted or suspended. I had couple of friends who had their accounts suspended.
I live in the US and am aware of what is going on. I think you probably hear the news from your relatives of what is going on in this country. You should return and enjoy the looting, burning, shooting, car jacking, demonstrations and total disrespect for police.
Check your percentages on where US stands as far as deaths from COVID in comparison to the world. I will provide you with real sources and numbers.
Several of my friends are going back to Poland if Biden/Harris is elected, they would rather live in "Totalitarian" Poland than the US under Harris. Get real Harris will be the President.

  15. Anonymous, I've been posting things on FB for the last 3 years, lately almost daily following one of his many lies.

Right now, the Democratic Party is the only opposition to Trump capable of beating him so it is the right party.

No, I wouldn't return to overturned environmental laws, a stacked justice system, leaders who fear Trump, a failing economy, abandonment of allies, and a President who is a pathological liar, has no plan to stop the spread of Covid-19, a bully and is a disgrace to the Presidency of the United States.

Yes, I do have many relatives still there and even some who were staunch Trump supporters are now voting for Biden.

As for the rioting, looting, burning, etc., there are not the "fine people on both sides". But then neither are white nationalists, the "proud boys", neo-nazis and bad police officers.
