It is an improved, new version. Before, if your mom wanted to move forward, she had to lift it up a little, move it forward, and then walk Now, you can move just one side of it forward and walk. Actually, it helps in 2 ways not only in walking. The other way is it helps to shift her weight on the leg not moving. She has a problem with that. Of course, her balance must be better first.
