What I can't understand is why the National Guard and police were not deployed before the vote began to stop such an occurrence. Surely, with all of trump's rhetoric the last months about voter fraud, stolen election, and telling terrorists to "Stand back and stand by", it was known this could happen. However, what police powered as the terrorists broke windows and gained access to the building. they were seriously outmanned.

This riot will change nothing. Biden will be the next President and with the 2 Senatorial seats now to be occupied by Democrats, they will be in control.
