Well, I lasted almost a year before my back finally started hurting from all I am doing now. It started two days ago making it hard to sit or walk. Bartosz gave me some insights on how to relieve it and it seems to be working today. I was able to walk down the stairs, drive to the market and do the shopping for next week. I cheated a little on the menu. I copied one from a month ago along with the shopping list. I just didn't feel like putting a new one together yesterday. The good news is I only sent 145 PLN($39).
Joan had PT early today, 11:15. When it was over, I made some coffee and we ate a few cookies while watching a rerun episode of "The Blacklist."
Despite all of the protests across Poland of the "new" abortion law, it has had NO effect on the current government. They passed it into law yesterday. Almost all legal abortions in Poland are performed on the grounds of fetal defects, so this ruling, which is final and binding, effectively bans pregnancy terminations. For years, opinion polls said a clear majority of Poles opposed a more restrictive law.
Tonight's dinner is Rustic Vegetable Soup. I put every vegetable I could buy today, add garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. We both like it and it makes enough or two days, alternately.

Skopiowałem jeden sprzed miesiąca wraz z listą zakupów. Po prostu nie chciałem wczoraj składać nowego. Dobra wiadomość jest taka, że wysłałem tylko 145 zł (39 $).
Joan miała dzisiaj PT wcześnie, 11:15. Kiedy było po wszystkim, zrobiłem kawę i zjedliśmy kilka ciastek, oglądając powtórkę odcinka „Czarnej listy”.
Pomimo wszystkich protestów w całej Polsce w sprawie „nowej” ustawy aborcyjnej, NIE miało to wpływu na obecny rząd. Wczoraj wprowadzili to w życie. Prawie wszystkie legalne aborcje w Polsce dokonywane są z powodu wad płodu, więc orzeczenie to, jako prawomocne, skutecznie zakazuje przerywania ciąży. Badania opinii publicznej od lat pokazują, że zdecydowana większość Polaków jest przeciwna bardziej restrykcyjnemu prawu.
Dzisiejsza kolacja to Rustykalna Zupa Warzywna. Włożyłem wszystkie warzywa, które mogłem dzisiaj kupić, dodaję czosnek, tymianek, sól, pieprz i koncentrat pomidorowy. Oboje nam się to podoba i na przemian wystarcza na dwa dni.
Bueno, duré casi un año antes de que mi espalda finalmente comenzara a doler por todo lo que estoy haciendo ahora. Comenzó hace dos días, lo que dificulta sentarse o caminar. Bartosz me dio algunas ideas sobre cómo aliviarlo y parece estar funcionando hoy. Pude bajar las escaleras, conducir hasta el mercado y hacer las compras para la próxima semana.
