It took us
3 hours to drive to Berlin on this rainy day but, due to a road shutdown, in
Berlin it took another hour to get to the hotel, Calma Bitte Berlin. Then I
found out I had to park my car several blocks away from the hotel because they
had no parking there. Eventually we were checked in and took a little walk
around the area we were in. Very close by was the largest Jewish temple, almost
completely destroyed by the Nazi's but now somewhat restored and open to the
public. We stopped and spent an hour there and then moved on to other
interesting buildings like the Bode Museum and the needle tower.
